Happy Chinese New Year 2009,
All Ox-ed Out!!
Time flies, things change;
People growing, people aging.

I finally managed to somehow fix my desktop after suffering from insufficient disk space on my laptop for months.
500GB harddisks on my desktop, which were intended to store archive photos, went useless when my desktop Windows XP suffered from bluescreen upon start up which I tend to be lazy in solving the issue.
Anyway, I reinstalled a fresh copy of Windows XP (but it did not replace the old copy of Windows XP! but that’s another issue altogether…)
This screenshot below triggered my urge to get a new CPU. When I run Lightroom 2, it tend to occupy 99% of the CPU usage. I have 4GB ram installed, in which Windows XP only detects up to 3GB (due to 32-bit limitation).

You are given a chance to photograph Marian Rivera and/or Will Devaughn and publish your very own taken photos on a magazine book. The JAG Studio allows you to take photographs of the well known models, pick the photos you like, publish them, and share the book with your friend.
In the form of digital media, interactivity between the media and the users is the crucial key to success. Two way communication tends to leave stronger impact on the users, with more effective consumer branding.
In order to maximize the impact of interactive digital media and to achieve goals, generally it has to be user friendly, offering what most users will want to interact with, attract users’ attentions, and last but not least to allow easy word of mouth reference. Yes, the power of people network is *very* compelling.
Putting myself in the consumers’ shoes, I gave this website a try and it does not disappoint me much.
Without second thought, I picked Marian Rivera to be photographed.
Thanks my friend for reminding me on looking back at what I’ve done in 2008, and also having a new year resolution for better year ahead.
Spent some time thinking and here is a quick list of what I’ve done (or achieved) in 2008:
- - changed to a better prospect job
- - got into a new relationship
- - revamped and consolidate my website(s)
- - moved to a better place to stay (and have my own room!)
- - moved a step further in photography
- - travel to somewhere out of Southeast Asia
All good stuffs. Well, no point mentioning about the bads (or rather to save the 10-scroll-page space) anyway.
With all the good happenings in 2008, what shall I aim for in 2009 then?
Let’s see:
- - revamp and beautify my website(s)
- - develop more websites/ web systems
- - make time for photography outings and be a level up in photography
- - to get updated on (at least one) new happenings / stuffs everyday
- - get a motorcycle
- - earn more, by any means
- - learn and get involve in stock investments
- - travel to overseas (currently Taiwan or Australia on the list)
- - spend more time with family members (physically / mentally)
- - get rid of bad characteristics (bad temper, stubborn, impatient, negative thinking)
- - do more jogging and keep the tummy smaller
- - spend lesser time on the monitor
Yep, I guess that would be it. I would be very happy if I can achieve 8 out of them.
Hope everyone has their own resolution achieved in 2009!
