The World Through A Plastic Lens

Put aside expensive L-lenses, precisely calibrated glass lenses, I am going to see the world through a plastic lens.

Introducing the Holga, the toy camera.

I was excited to receive this as a gift, something that I’ve been seeing for quite some time, been looking around at the photos taken by this little plastiky fella, but always been drawn back by the idea of having to spend on films and development fees. But no doubt I believe it would be fun getting my hands dirty on it!

At this digital world, people tend to shoot a lot (yes I am one of them), get home and started to feel exhausted to post-process, and repeat the same old routine. Not to say that I will give up digital camera (they serve me well!), but there is something different awaits me to explore on.

Plastic 60/8 Optical Lens, 120 Medium Format Film, Built-In Colorflash…

May I introduce my Little Red Plastic Prince :)
