We always eager for good food on Saturday night, and today it was not an exceptional night. We had a few thoughts before we both agreed on giving the Japanese grill place in Cuppage a try. I remember we once walked by and saw a few Sifu’s who are actually Japanese. We thought it would worth a try to figure out how Japanese this place is. And tonight we proved that our expectation was right. This is the most Japanese’s Japanese place I’ve been before.

If I am at Bugis Junction, I wouldn’t be hesitated to visit this place for dine in at any time at all. V8 Cafe, discovered by chance, offers western food at attractively reasonable price.

A leisure dinner treat at Marché on weekday is definitely a stress releasing. Good food can no doubt cheer me up after a bad day. If you have been to Marché at Vivo City, you may agree with me that the ambiance is fabulous for a weekday dinner treat.

Western cooking stations packed in a faux Swiss chalet setting, offering rotisseries, handmade pastas, salads and soups, not forgetting their variety meats grilled on wood-fed flames. Oh and also, their traditional Swiss breads and tarts are at tempting smell too!

We have heard of Timbre for quite some time, but never had a chance to dine in or at least enjoyed The Goodfellas performance on every Saturday at Timbre @ The Substation. We finally had made up our mind and be there around 8pm. We were surprised to get a seat as it’s always crowded. Maybe we were still early, as the band only starts performing around 10.30pm.

Usually my Saturdays would start off without plans, and today was one of those unplanned Saturdays. It was until afternoon when me and my friends decided to stroll down to COMEX 2008 Singapore. Unfortunately, I’m not going to blog about the babes and the gadgets there. There was not much to be mentioned as it seem to be yet-another-pc-show kind of fair.

Before heading down there, we spent our dinner time at The Café Cartel at Marina Square. This chain restaurant based in Singapore serving American cuisine is not a bad place to dine in, and they usually have promos like the one I had.
